Never send a message written in anger or resentment. If you write something in order to relieve your pent-up feelings, or to express righteous indignation, put it away for twenty-four hours, and upon deliberate reflection you will destroy it.

Anger in any form is weakness, but putting it in writing creates a record that becomes an accusing witness against your better character. Resolve to never under any circumstances send an unkind or ill-tempered message, or place anything on record which you could possibility live to regret. Make it a rule to never say anything in anger.

You cannot retract the spoken word. Think well before you speak.
