Did You Know?
Daisy began in 1890, when a railroad line came through. Residents first chose Conley, for Methodist minister Rev. W.F. Conley. The postal service refused because Georgia already had a Conley. So they named the town for his granddaughter, Daisy Leola Edwards, and the post office was approved that August.
