Every town has a first chapter, and Hypericum is no exception. Hypericum, also known as Dog-town, is a small community of two residential roads and about 40 parcels, three miles south of Farmersville. With no community meeting space of its own, residents gathered at a neighbor's home on Hypericum Road in February 2016 to set the priorities for their county plan. Many of the private wells in Hypericum had gone dry, so Self-Help Enterprises and Tulare County connected those homes to temporary water tanks. That's from the Tulare County General Plan.
Hypericum is a community in Tulare County. The Census Bureau counted 125 people here in 2020.
