Did You Know?
In the 1950s, much of White Pine was built as a company town for its miners. It was planned like a typical postwar suburb, with many single-story ranch homes. The town never grew to the size the Copper Range Company had planned. Many miners kept their homes and drove up to 90 miles a day instead.
