Did You Know?
Ansley Park was the first Atlanta suburb designed for the automobile. Rail and real estate magnate Edwin P. Ansley developed it from 1905 to 1908. Instead of a grid, it got wide, winding streets laid out like parkways. Ansley’s own former home later served as the governor’s mansion.
