If you grew up in Sedalia or still have family near the Missouri State Fairground, this map was made for you. It's a new aerial view of Sedalia in Pettis County, Missouri, built from modern data and given a vintage look. The town fills the middle of the sheet, with more than 12,000 buildings shown in deep red. Green hills, small creeks and a few blue ponds spread out all around it.
Sedalia's 1864 charter and first mayor
On this map you'll find West Broadway Boulevard, East Broadway Boulevard, West Main Street, North Ohio Avenue, South Ohio Avenue, North Limit Avenue, Sedalia City Hall, the Missouri State Fairground, Crown Hill Cemetery, Hubbard Park, Katy Park, Clover Dell Park, East Third Street, and more. Each red shape is a building, so zoom in on the preview and look for yours.
Sedalia was incorporated in 1864. General Smith was named in its charter as the first mayor. This comes from the place-name files kept by The State Historical Society of Missouri. Sedalia City Hall is printed near the center of the sheet, close to West Main Street.
Old downtown buildings on Third Street
Several old buildings near downtown are on the National Register of Historic Places. The Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad Depot stands at 600 East Third Street. It was listed in 1979. The Sedalia Public Library, at 311 West Third Street, was listed in 1980. Hotel Bothwell, at 103 East Fourth Street, joined the list in 1989. All three of those streets are printed on the map, a few blocks from City Hall.
From Hubbard Park to the State Fairground

Created by KNOWOL in 2026, this print shows Sedalia from above, with shaded green hills, thin blue creeks and the town's buildings in deep red. The title panel at the bottom reads Aerial View of Sedalia, Missouri, with the coordinates 38°43' North 93°14' West.
It suits a living room, a home office or the hallway by the front door. It's also a good gift for someone who moved away and still thinks of the Missouri State Fairground or Hubbard Park. Open the preview and look for the street you know best. See sizes and frames for the Sedalia map.
