“Lake Winnipesaukee Sunday” was one of a series of travel posters created to entice visitors to travel throughout New England on the Boston and Maine Railroad. It was originally printed in the 1930’s and shows a family of six boating on Lake Winnipesaukee.

This vintage travel poster was created by Charles W. Holmes for the Boston and Maine Railroad – a railway that traversed New England in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The image was carefully restored by KNOWOL for all those who love to spend Sunday boating on Lake Winnipesaukee.
