If you grew up along Great Cove Road, or your family still farms the valley around Websters Mill, this map is made for you. It's a modern aerial view of Ayr Township in Fulton County, Pennsylvania, drawn from modern data and given a vintage artistic feel. Long green ridges run from corner to corner, and the wide valley along Great Cove Road sits between them. Red shapes mark buildings along the roads, and a long blue lake lies on the left side of the sheet.

Ayr Township has a place in Civil War history. In June 1863, Confederate raiders crossed into Fulton County. They came to take horses, livestock and supplies. On June 29, Union troops of the 1st New York Cavalry attacked them. Two Confederate soldiers were killed, and 32 were taken prisoner, including their captain. According to the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, these were the first Confederate soldiers killed in battle on Pennsylvania soil. Local residents buried them there. The state marker for this event was first placed along Buchanan Trail (PA 16), and you can find that road on the map.
Hunter Mill at Websters Mill
Websters Mill is printed on the map too. A state marker there tells of Hunter Mill, a grist mill William Hunter built in 1812. The marker says it ran on a water wheel and still used much of its old machinery.
A map of the Great Cove Road valley

Created by KNOWOL in 2026, this print shows Ayr's ridges in soft shaded green, with thin roads and small red buildings across the valley floor. The cream title panel reads "Aerial View of Ayr, Pennsylvania" with 39°53' North 78°01' West below it.
It suits a farmhouse kitchen, a den or a hallway by the front door. It's a thoughtful gift for someone who grew up near Websters Mill or who drives Great Cove Road home each night. Open the preview and find the ridges you know. See sizes and frames for the Ayr map.
