If you grew up on a street off Woodland Avenue or Kedron Avenue, you'll find both streets printed on this map. It's a modern aerial view of Morton in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, made from modern data and finished with a vintage look. Rows of red buildings fill the curving streets up by Baltimore Pike. A rail line cuts across the middle of the sheet, right where Woodland Avenue meets Kedron Avenue. Soft green hills and pale roads fill the rest of the frame.

John Morton and the Vote of 1776
A state historical marker at 420 E. Ridley Ave. in Ridley Park marks the birthplace of John Morton (1724-1777), a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
A state historical marker in Ridley Park tells the rest. It says his ballot, with those of Benjamin Franklin and James Wilson, committed Pennsylvania to independence. The margin was one vote. The marker is in Ridley Park, in the same part of Delaware County as Morton.
