It's a modern aerial view of Warrenton in Warren County, Missouri, made from modern data and given a vintage look. Green hills fold around the town on every side, and small blue ponds sit in the fields. The red shapes are the town itself, and most of them line Highway 47 on either side of Warrenton City Hall.

Mordecai Morgan, Dr. Bruin and the First Warrenton Settlers
Nobody knows for sure who settled Warrenton first. The State Historical Society of Missouri says the old accounts don't agree. Some say Mordecai Morgan came first, in 1814. He was from Shelby County, Kentucky. Others say a Dr. Bruin made the first settlement, in 1818. Either way, people were making homes on this ground more than 200 years ago. Warrenton City Hall is printed near the center of the map, and the hills roll out around it.
The Warren County Courthouse on Main Street
Two Warrenton places are on the National Register of Historic Places. The Warren County Courthouse and Circuit Court Building stands on Main Street. It was listed in 1972. The Ernst Schowengerdt House, at 308 East Boone's Lick Road, was listed in 1980. Both are inside Warrenton's city limits.
Keep Warrenton and Main Street Close

Created by KNOWOL in 2026, the print shows Warrenton from above, with soft green shaded hills, blue ponds and creeks, and red buildings gathered along the main roads. A cream title panel at the bottom reads "Aerial View of Warrenton, Missouri" with the coordinates 38°49' North 91°09' West.
