Lisbon Falls is a named community in Androscoggin County.
KNOWOL made this map in 2026 from public survey records, United States Geological Survey elevation data and Census Bureau files. Its atlas layout brings together Lisbon Falls’s streets, buildings, ponds and waterways, and terrain, the community boundary and the pattern of buildings. The community is mapped with its own boundary. The finished artwork gives Lisbon Falls its own place title.
A corner store and Moxie
Lisbon Falls is a census-designated community within the town of Lisbon. The Androscoggin River and Little River drain the community.
For years, its Moxie Days celebration centered on the Kennebec Fruit Company, a corner store owned by Frank Anicetti. Anicetti was a longtime champion of the soft drink, which has a distinctive flavor from gentian root.
The former store reopened under new ownership as Frank’s Restaurant & Pub in 2017. Moxie itself became Maine’s official soft drink in 2005.
