Brimhall Nizhoni has a story worth telling. The Navajo name of the Coyote Canyon Chapter means Coyote Fell In The Watering Hole. After returning in 1868 from the Long Walk and the Navajo imprisonment at Fort Sumner, Chief Manuelito made his home in the northeastern part of the chapter area, lived there the rest of his life, and is buried at his homestead. The first chapter house was built about 1930. In the late 1970s council delegate Ben Muskett worked hard to bring electric service to much of the community. That's from the Coyote Canyon Chapter.

Brimhall Nizhoni is a community in McKinley County. The Census Bureau counted 286 people here in 2020.
