The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe is the federally recognized government of the Saint Regis Mohawk Reservation at Akwesasne, a name that translates roughly to “Land where the partridge drums.” The Tribe’s territory lies south of the border dividing the United States and Canada, and the lands north of the border are under the jurisdiction of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne.

We designed the artwork at KNOWOL to read like a page from an old atlas. Buildings are drawn as small raised blocks with soft shadows, shaded relief shows the rise and fall of the land, and street names are set in clean, condensed lettering. A ruled border, a scale bar, and a title panel with the reservation’s coordinates finish the sheet.
This beautifully detailed map of the St. Regis Mohawk Reservation makes an attractive addition to your office, library, or den. When you’re done exploring, click here to get your copy of the St. Regis Mohawk Reservation, New York map.
